Pfizer's tafamidis (Vyndaqel/Vyndamax) is the incumbent oral TTR stabiliser for ATTR cardiomyopathy and is the direct alternative prescribed to the same cardiology patients BridgeBio targets with Attruby.
Alnylam's Amvuttra (vutrisiran) is approved for the same ATTR-CM indication and competes for the same newly diagnosed and switching patients, using RNA interference instead of stabilisation.
BioMarin's Voxzogo (vosoritide) is the established treatment for children with achondroplasia, the market BridgeBio's oral infigratinib is built to enter.
Ascendis is bringing a weekly CNP therapy (navepegritide) to the same achondroplasia patients and prescribing paediatric endocrinologists that infigratinib addresses.
Ionis, with AstraZeneca, sells Wainua (eplontersen) in transthyretin amyloidosis and has pushed it toward the cardiomyopathy setting, competing for the same ATTR patient population.
