Who this company fights with for the same customers

KLA is the dominant supplier of semiconductor process-control equipment and competes head-on with Nova for the metrology budget of the same leading-edge logic and memory fabs.
Camtek, also Israeli, sells inspection and 3D metrology systems to the same customers and overlaps with Nova above all in advanced-packaging measurement.
Applied Materials builds its own in-situ sensors and metrology products alongside its deposition and etch tools, so it takes measurement work inside the fab that would otherwise go to Nova.
ASML pairs its lithography scanners with its own overlay and CD metrology platforms, competing with Nova for the measurement steps that surround the lithography process.
Lam Research embeds sensing and metrology into its etch and deposition platforms, so its in-line measurement offering competes with Nova's integrated metrology at the same process steps.
Nova names Onto Innovation first among its competitors: both sell stand-alone and integrated optical metrology and process-control systems to the same wafer fabs, covering critical dimension, thin-film and advanced-packaging measurement.
