Apple's Find My app and AirTag, named by Life360 in its own 10-K, compete directly for the same family location-sharing and item-tracking use cases, and come free with the iPhones Life360's subscribers already own.
Google offers the same core features on Android at no cost — location sharing in Google Maps, parental supervision through Family Link, and the Find Hub tracking network that rival tags plug into.
Samsung's Galaxy SmartTag and its SmartThings Find network compete head-on with Tile for the Android item-tracking customer, bundled with the Galaxy phones that dominate much of that base.
Bark sells a family-safety subscription with real-time location, place alerts and check-ins, plus a kids' phone and smartwatch, going after the same paying parents as Life360's Gold and Platinum tiers.
Chipolo sells Bluetooth tags at the same price points and through the same retail shelves as Tile, in versions that work on both the Apple and Google finding networks.
