HP Inc. sells the same commercial desktops, notebooks and workstations to the same corporate and public-sector buyers as Dell's Client Solutions Group, and the two sit second and third in worldwide PC shipments.
HPE offers the same enterprise data-centre catalogue as Dell's Infrastructure Solutions Group — servers, storage arrays, networking and the support contracts attached to them — and bids for the same corporate infrastructure budgets.
Super Micro builds GPU-dense AI servers for the cloud providers and AI customers that now drive most of Dell's server revenue, and the two trade first and second place in quarterly server sales.
NetApp competes directly with Dell's storage lines (PowerStore, PowerScale, PowerMax) for the enterprise data-storage budget, selling to the same IT departments through the same channel partners.
Lenovo is the world's largest PC vendor and also sells x86 servers and storage, so it competes with Dell on both of Dell's businesses, with a much stronger position in China and Asia.

The investment bank now projects the total server market to reach $1.5 trillion by 2030, with a 39% CAGR from 2025-2030. Crucially, the AI server segment is expected to hit $1.3 trillion by 2030, boasting a 46% CAGR. - 17d agoNEGATIVELe azioni Dell scendono per i timori sulla sicurezza dell'IA: è finita la corsa rialzista?
Dell Technologies shares experienced a pre-market decline, falling to $550 from Friday's close of $567. This downturn is attributed to broader investor concerns surrounding Artificial Intelligence (AI) security, leading to a sell-off in tech stocks. Dell's performance mirrored that of other AI-focused companies, with Nvidia down 2.77% and Micron and SanDisk dropping over 5% in pre-market trading. Investors are reportedly taking profits, and persistent AI-related worries are impacting the sector. - 20d agoPOSITIVEWhy Dell and HPE were the S&P 500’s top-performing stocks today
Dell Technologies Inc. was among the top performers on the S&P 500 today, with its stock price surging. This positive momentum appears to be influenced by Oracle's recent earnings report, which provided an optimistic outlook for hardware suppliers. Investors are likely interpreting this as a signal of robust demand and potential for increased sales in the sector. However, the broader market sentiment and future performance may also be significantly shaped by the Federal Reserve's upcoming decisions on interest rates, introducing an element of caution for sustained gains.

- 22d agoPOSITIVEAzioni Dell a 52 settimane: l'IA spinge la crescita
Dell Technologies Inc. shares surged 4.3% to a new 52-week high of $562.99 on Wednesday morning, driven by investor anticipation of CEO Michael Dell's appearance at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference. This follows Dell's record second-quarter earnings and an upward revision of its full-year forecast, underscoring the market's focus on its burgeoning AI infrastructure business. The company reported Q2 FY2027 revenue of $46.97 billion, a substantial 58% year-over-year increase, with $60.9 billion in AI-related orders also noted. - 29d agoPOSITIVELe azioni Dell sembrano più forti che mai, ma una voce finanziaria va controtendenza
Dell Technologies reported a stellar fiscal first quarter, with revenues surging 58% year-over-year to $47 billion and net income skyrocketing 255% to $4.13 billion. AI server revenue doubled to $16.4 billion, supported by $60.9 billion in orders and a $95 billion backlog. The company also raised its annual revenue guidance by $25 billion to $192 billion.
