Through Morningstar DBRS it issues credit ratings on the same bond and structured-finance issuers, and sells investment data and research to overlapping institutional clients.
Sells risk, climate and ESG analytics subscriptions to the banks, insurers and asset managers that Moody's Analytics targets with its own risk and sustainability data.
Competes for the same research-and-data subscription budgets of investment professionals, offering company fundamentals, fixed-income data and analytics platforms alongside Moody's Analytics.
Third member of the "Big Three" rating agencies, privately held by Hearst, competing with Moody's for the same issuer rating mandates and selling credit research through Fitch Solutions.
