Cathie Wood, Chase Coleman Bet On Block — Now Jack Dorsey Is Rewriting The Cost Curve

Block Inc. (formerly Square), under CEO Jack Dorsey, is undergoing a significant restructuring, including a 40% staff reduction to pivot towards artificial intelligence. This strategic move, aimed at "rewriting the cost curve," follows a period where high-profile investors like Cathie Wood and Chase Coleman had already increased their positions in the stock. The cost reduction and the pivot to AI could signal enhanced operational efficiency and new growth opportunities, making Block stock an interesting prospect for investors seeking companies in a phase of transformation and optimization.
